Everyone can benefit from expert resources from time to time. NYU offers a variety of academic and support services  for you to utilize if faced with an academic challenge that is difficult to navigate on your own. Below are resources available around NYU that you may find helpful as a Liberal Studies student:

Academic Resource Center: Offers cross-school advising, study spaces, and tutoring services through the University Learning Center

Henry and Lucy Moses Center for Students With Disabilities: Facilitates equal access to programs and services for NYU students with physical and/or learning disabilities

University Libraries: Offers classes and services to improve your research skills

Speaking Freely: Offers language coaching sessions to help students improve foreign language skills

University Learning Center: Offers drop-in tutoring; group review sessions; and workshops in study skills, test-taking strategies, and time management, among others

University Writing Center: Offers one-on-one consultations with professional writing coaches to improve academic writing

Undergraduate Mathematics Tutoring Center: Offers walk-in tutoring for various NYU math courses

Tutoring support for other subjects is available through the academic department, including Computer Science, Physics, and many foreign languages. Interested students should visit the appropriate academic department or consult their academic advisor.
