Advanced Global Topics is taken at the junior year global site and places the particular site into a global context. Advanced Global Topics courses concern a wide variety of topics and connect the site experience with wider regional, national, or global phenomena.
Advanced Global Topics classes take full advantage of the student's global site—e.g. museum trips and architectural tours, explorations of neighborhoods, lectures by or conversations with members of the community (scholarly and otherwise), and the like. The course illuminates aspects of the culture and history of the host country in relation to regional and local issues.
