Marion Thain, Clinical Professor in Liberal Studies and Director of Digital Humanities for NYU, was the advisor for an online project and graduate thesis in NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. The project passed with flying colors last Friday. Nicole Cote’s digital humanities project, titled Diaries to Data, was based around materials provided by Professor Thain’s major manuscript digitization project (part of the Victorian Lives and Letters Consortium). The degree was completed within Tandon’s Integrated Digital Media program and met with a very enthusiastic reception from the examiners. Many congratulations to Nicole!
