Liberal Studies is redefining the liberal arts for the Twenty-first Century with outstanding academic programs: the Liberal Studies Core and Global Liberal Studies.
These programs provide a true core curriculum experience, emphasizing the great works of the world’s leading cultures from antiquity to today. The integrated curriculum moves across disciplines and takes you outside the traditional classroom to experience the world’s classic works in person.
The hallmark of Liberal Studies is the commitment to small classes, where faculty and students work together to forge a learning community. Liberal Studies classes are discussion-based—no larger than 25 students—and taught by faculty that are experts in fields from human rights to creative writing.
