Since joining Liberal Studies Professor Mejorado has taught Principles of Economics and various GLS seminars on topics related to economic development, comparative economic systems, and economic growth. She has also taught at The New School and New Jersey City University. Professor Mejorado’s current research focuses on the linkages between technical change, profits, and secular stagnation. The last book she co-authored, Profitability and the Great Recession: The Role of Accumulation Trends in the Financial Crisis, interprets the Great Recession of 2007-2009 through the lens of classical political economy.
