Financial aid is an important consideration for many students in deciding where to go to college. To determine whether you qualify for some form of financial assistance at NYU, you must apply for financial aid.
Tuition
The cost of attendance at NYU is updated annually. Costs may vary slightly for First Year Away programs. Please refer to the Bursar's Office Tuition site for more details about annual charges.
Financial Aid
To be considered for need-based financial aid at NYU, first-year applicants and continuing students should file financial aid applications by the priority deadline each year.
Scholarships
NYU applicants are automatically reviewed on the basis of their admissions application for scholarships where merit is considered. However, a majority of the undergraduate scholarships at NYU are based on a combination of need and merit and require filing financial aid applications by the deadline. The amount of scholarship a student receives in their first year is typically the amount they will continue to receive each year if they remain otherwise eligible.
