Matt Longabucco is an essayist, poet, and novelist. Recent publications include the book M/W: An essay on Jean Eustache’s La maman et la putain (Ugly Duckling Presse 2021), the chapbook Heroic Dose (Inpatient Press 2019), and the catalog essay for Nicole Eisenman’s Incelesbian (Dieu Donné/Anton Kern 2020). His work has appeared in Mirage, Lana Turner, Parkett, The Brooklyn Rail, and elsewhere. From 2012 to 2014, he curated the Friday Night Series at the Poetry Project. He co-founded Wendy’s Subway, an independent library and community arts space in Brooklyn. He is a long-time associate of Bard College’s Institute for Writing and Thinking, where he teaches innovative pedagogy to educators.
