New York University has implemented critical measures to keep the NYU community healthy and to continue mitigating the spread of COVID-19. In accordance with these guidelines, Liberal Studies Advising & Student Affairs has moved to virtual advising and programming. This will be the service method through the end of the Fall 2020 semester. We will instead use NYU Zoom for appointments and programs (unless otherwise specified). As always, we remain committed to offering quality advisement and co-curricular engagement for students during this time, and we will ensure continuity of support. Please email your advisor or access NYU Connect to schedule an online appointment. For more information about the NYU response to Coronavirus, please visit the university website.
Academic advising is a fundamental element of the Liberal Studies educational experience. Advisors partner with you to identify and implement sound academic and career goals based on your interests, abilities, and personal values. We aim to empower you to become independent thinkers, lifelong learners, and leaders in the global world.
Advisors work across our programs and are knowledgeable about all academic and student life opportunities. However, each advisor leads program areas and can be a resource for specific questions you may have.
