Liberal Studies professors Mitchell S. Jackson and Robin Nagle will be featured during Alumni Weekend, NYU's biggest alumni event of the year.
All attendees are invited to participate in one of two sessions on Saturday, October 27, from 10–11am, featuring LS professors:
- Liberal Studies presents: 'The Other America II' | Mitchell S. Jackson (GSAS ’04), Clinical Associate Professor of Writing, Liberal Studies. Public speaker, author, filmmaker and criminal justice reform advocate in the U.S. and abroad
- Arts and Science presents: 'Collective Memory, Shared Forgetfulness, and History Underfoot' | Robin Nagle, Clinical Professor, Liberal Studies
Clinical Professor Karen Karbiener is also the faculty speaker for the NYU Perstare society induction breakfast honoring members of the 50th Anniversary Class—this year, the Class of 1968.
NYU has 500,000+ alumni, the largest network of any private US university. Many will gather on campus October 26–27 from all over the world for lively reunions, networking and programming.
