Heidi White has a master's degree and a doctorate in philosophy from the New School for Social Research. She also holds a master's degree in humanities, with an emphasis on the history of ideas, from the University of Texas at Dallas. She currently serves as the Liberal Studies Faculty Senator and as the elected chair of the Politics, Rights, and Development concentration (2010-2016, 2019-present).
